Villa Bramasole

Villa Bramasole is a large self catering property that is situated in the hills above the town of Ostuni and close to the town of Cisternino. Perfect for large families or groups of friends, it has use of a large swimming pool in a hotel nearby. The swimming pool is complete with loungers, chairs and umbrellas and there is a bar and a restaurant should you wish to have lunch there whilst spending the whole day at the pool. There is also the option to have dinner at the hotel or go into the centre of Ostuni which is a few minutes drive away.

It has several bedrooms, a large fully equipped kitchen with dining area, lounge with traditional fireplace, family bathroom and lots of private garden and land making it a perfect property for large groups on a self catering holiday. Its white washed walls reflect the sun and keep it cool inside during the hot summer months and the thick walls also retain the heat during the winter making it an ideal property to stay in all year round.

The garden area is on terraced land and dotted with dry stone walling, typical of the area. There is an abundance of olive and fruit trees dotted around the land including fig, pear, cherry and almond trees. The property boasts some spectacular views of the surrounding Apulian countryside and olive groves. Villa Bramasole is also only 20 minutes drive from the coast and the beaches of Pilone and Rosa Marina.

It also has great outside facilities with a large sun terrace surrounding the villa complete with loungers, great for soaking up the Apulian sun. There are also outside dining facilities with tables and chairs both in the shade and in the sun, it is an ideal place for some 'al fresco' eating in the warm summer evenings and ideal opportunity to use the outside barbeque and wood burning pizza oven. Located in the grounds are the ruins of a 'Lamie', which are the 'Trullo' of the Ostuni and Salento region, they are constructed in a similar way but instead of having a conical roof they have a domed ceiling.

Ostuni has a wide variety of places to eat to suit all budgets ranging from cafes, pizzerias, and trattorias, to Michelin star restaurants such as 'La Osteria Del Tempo Perso' which is a local attraction and well known throughout the area. If you plan on staying at Villa Bramasole to eat then Ostuni market will be the ideal place to find all your groceries for your stay. It is the largest market in the area and is held every Saturday morning in the town centre.
