Torretta Salentina

Torretta Salentina is a unique self catering accommodation set amongst peaceful and scenic tropical gardens in the south of Puglia in the Salento region.

The Torretta is an ideal hideaway for those wanting a relaxing and secluded holiday. It is fully equipped should you wish to do any cooking during your stay and you are provided with items for breakfast for the week. The owners Nunzia and her mother Marcella live next door should you need anything and will be happy to recommend restaurants and attractions to visit, or if you don't want to leave the comfort of your little tower, they can also provide you with a home cooked dinner or lunch of typical dishes of the area for a little extra charge. A buffet style breakfast is also available on request.

The Torretta is also complete with modern amenities such as Satellite television and DVD player. There is also air conditioning to keep you cool and fresh in your tower during the hot summer months.

The large swimming pool, which is shared with one other property, comes complete with sun loungers, pool towels and an outside shower. There is a large terrace with gazebo, dining table and chairs and a barbeque, perfect for some evening 'al fresco' dining or for lunches in the shade. For those who may wish to bring their pets with them, the property has a purpose built kennels and garden area especially for your pooch.

As well as having a pool, Torretta Salentina is also close to the stunning beaches of Gallipoli on the Ionian coast, one of Puglia's most famous attributes. A short drive away is the famous Baroque city of Lecce, also known as the 'Florence of the South' and there are lots of restaurants and cafes in the nearby town of Galatina serving authentic salentino dishes.
