Swallow House so called as prior to reconstruction was a nesting ground
for hundreds of Swallows. This 18th century Trullo is situated on the
outskirts of the town centre of Alberobello in the countryside and is close
to the medieval church of Barsento and a short walk from the public swimming
pool.
It has a large garden area with a gazebo and is surrounded by private
land with various fruit trees. Guests are provided with fresh fruit grown on
the land throughout their stay. The owners live next door at weekends and
are on hand should you need any assistance. The owners welcome animals and
the Trullo has an outside kennel suitable for anyone who wishes to bring
their pet on holiday with them.
All the original features of the Trullo have been maintained including
the original beams and stone and it has been furnished with traditional
Apulian country antiques.
