Trulli Sopra I Sassi

Sopra i Sassi, just outside Cisternino, represents a new approach to holidays: sought-after, elegant and immersed in a welcoming and comfortable ambience.

The two trulli that make up this delightful property have been beautifully renovated using ancient stone masonry techniques, to restore the original and unusual architecture. Immersed in nature, the trulli are surrounded by immaculate gardens and a unique swimming pool, built out of the bedrock.

Elegant gazebos built in local stone transform the gardens into splendid open-air lounges, creating an enchanting place to relax with all the modern comforts of the present, whilst soaking up the splendour of the past.

The internal ambiences are characterised by their simplicity, with tasteful furnishings preserving a traditional, rustic feel.

The larger trullo "Fico d’India" is comprised of 3 double bedrooms and 1 bedroom with 2 single stone bunks. There are 3 bathrooms with shower, a kitchenette and living area.

The smaller trullo "Granaio" has 2 double bedrooms, a bedroom with 2 single stone bunks, 2 bathrooms with shower and a kitchen.

Both trullo have their own stone gazebos for relaxation and independent barbecue areas. The trullos are also available to rent separately - see individual prices below
