Trullo Solari is a wonderful combination of historical architecture and progressive design.

This 300 year old building, with traditional trulli cones has been beautifully restored to provide maximum comfort and create a spacious, luxury accommodation.

Set in over five acres, Trullo Solari provides the space and tranquillity for real relaxation. Amongst the 150 olive trees are many almonds, walnuts, fig, cherries, apple, pear and mulberry trees, providing a garden banquet for guests. Produce from the land, including olive oil, is provided for your enjoyment at the property, and available to take home. The trullo is located only XXXkm from the hilltop town of Ceglie Messapica, renowned for its many restaurants and gastronomic specialities.

The trullo has been designed to be stylish, comfortable and environmentally friendly. Solar power is used for hot water and heating the house, and in cooler months under-floor heating and the wood-burning stove will keep you warm. The traditional thick walls and high ceilings keep the trullo cool in summer.

The swimming pool is conveniently situated close to the house, surrounded by terraces for sun loungers. There is a shallow area for youngsters and paddling. At the front of the house is a large stone dining table under a shady gazebo. Nearby is the outside kitchen, including barbeque (grill), pizza oven, sink and food preparation area. A large roof terrace is available to enjoy the landscape from a new perspective. Comfortably furnished, it’s the perfect place for cocktails at sundown.

The living room provides ample space for everyone to relax. Enjoy the sound system - Bose iPod docking station and CD player - or the Wii computer game for children of all ages. Eight metres of French windows provide ambient light, and beautiful views to the pool and beyond. The kitchen inside is equipped to a high standard and is set next to the intimate dining room under its impressive trullo dome.

There are four double bedrooms, of which two can be configured as doubles or twins. Each bedroom is accessed from the house, but also has its own door to the garden. They all have their own shower room.
