This beautifully restored trullo has well tended and spacious gardens, charming outdoor dining and relaxation areas and a lovely pool. The property is divided into two classic Trullo buildings, each a cluster of typical cones.

The owner has taken great care to keep the decoration and furnishings of the house simple and yet elegant. White washed walls and a mixture of antique stone floors and fresh tiled pavements give the whole house a classic Mediterranean feel. The furniture is a combination of local and African pieces with splashes of colour throughout the houses, which add to the overall feel of style and calm.

The larger of the two trullos houses the well equipped, typically small kitchen, two double bedrooms, and a bathroom with shower. There is a sitting room which has the traditional alcove style seating. Outside the house is a fabulous outdoor dining area and barbeque. The kitchen has a separate external door.

The second trullo has one master double bedroom with ensuite shower and a large sitting room, plus a small double with air-conditioning accessed via a separate external entrance with an ensuite shower room. This smaller double has its own private garden and outdoor eating area.

The pool is reached by paths from the two houses and is irregular in shape and provides the perfect location to unwind and relax. The gardens have been sympathetically landscaped to make the most of the Puglian countryside.

As tempting as it will be to stay put at Il Cappero the wide selection of superb local restaurants are sure to tempt you out in the evening to enjoy the fresh local cuisine and wonderful wines. Its position is ideal for exploring this fascinating area – the villages of Locorotondo, Cisternino, Ostuni, Alberobello and Martina Franca are all just a short drive away and the coast with its sandy and rocky beaches is less than 30 minutes away.

The housekeeper provides a 2 hour cleaning service, 6 days per week, included in the price.
