Il Gelso is a beautiful 18th Century Trullo with a luxury salt water pool. This charming property is situated in the picturesque countryside near to Alberobello and Martina Franca and is surrounded by private land and olive trees.

Named Il Gelso after the large Mulberry tree that stood in amongst the ruins of the trullo prior to reconstruction, the property has now been renovated and restored to a very high standard.

Furnished to a high standard, it has maintained the original features of the Trullo, including characteristic alcoves, arches and stone work and has an original restored trullo front door. The lounge opens onto the poolside terrace and garden area which is complete with patio table and chairs and a barbeque, perfect for some al fresco dining during the warm summer evenings. The salt water pool is complete with sun loungers, deck chairs and pool towels.

The Trullo is equipped with all modern facilities needed for a self catering holiday. Il Gelso is perfect for couples and families and can sleep up to 8 people comfortably. The salt water pool is especially suitable for children and delicate skin as it contains no chemicals or chlorine.

Il Gelso is perfect for those wanting peaceful and relaxing self catering property in the heart of the Apulian countryside with their own private pool. The stunning beaches of Torre Canne and Capitolo are only a 20 minute drive away and the World Heritage site of Alberobello is 2 minutes away.
