Alberobello ˝ day tour
A tour of the major attractions of the town including, Rione Monte and Aia Piccola,
the Basilicata and Trulli Church, Casa D’Amore and Trullo Soverano.
The tour lasts approximately 2-3 hours. The tour aims to give visitors an introduction
to the town and familiarised themselves with the area.
Alberobello full day tour
This tour takes visitors on a more in-depth tour of
Alberobello, including entrance into
the places of interest.
The tour also includes a wine and liqueur tasting in a traditional enoteca in the heart
of Rione Monte. This is a full day tour with a break for lunch at a local restaurant
(not included in price), your chance to try typical ‘Alberobelese’ cuisine.
Alberobello, Locorotondo, Ostuni
The tour starts in Alberobello with a visit to the Trulli district and its attractions
and a walk through the town and its piazzas. Before lunch the tour continues onto the
Valle D’Itria and Locorotondo.
Perched high upon a hill Locorotondo offers an ideal
opportunity for photographs of the beautiful panoramic view over the olive groves and
vineyards.
The tour continues onto Ostuni. After exploring the climbing streets of
Ostuni and reaching the baroque Cathedral at the top visitors are given the opportunity
to wander the famous white-washed tiny streets and alleyways and may choose to eat in
one of Ostuni’s highly recommended restaurants.
Castellana Grotte, Monopoli and Polignano al Mare
The day starts with a visit to the world famous Grotte of Castellana. The official
guides will take you over 200 feet underground to explore the fascinating caves with
their intricate paths.
Above ground once again the journey continues on to the fishing
town of Monopoli a stroll around its harbour and a well deserved
late morning cappuccino
in the central piazza.
The tour concludes in the town of Polignano al Mare. After
entering the historic centre through its high arches visitors arrive in one of the
many central piazzas of Polignano with its bars and cafes, an ideal opportunity for
an apperitivo before lunch.
Visitors will finally be able to take in the spectacular
views of the town perched upon its cliff tops and admire the panoramic delights of
the Adriatic coastline.
